The international family of economic and social classifications comprise classifications that have been reviewed and approved as guidelines by the United Nations Statistical Commission or other intergovernmental agencies like the World Health Organisation, International Labour Organisation and World Customs Organisation. These classifications cover topics such as economics, labour, health and education.
