Indicator 5.5.1 | Proportion of seats held by women in (a) national parliaments and (b) local governments
As a city state, Singapore’s government carries out both national and local functions. Data refer to the proportion of female members of parliament at the start of a new Parliament term. For example, the figures for 2020 to 2023 remained the same as these are based on the start of the 14th Parliament.

Indicator 5.5.2 | Proportion of women in managerial positions
Data refer to employed residents (i.e. Singapore citizens and permanent residents) in the Singapore Standard Occupational Classification (SSOC) 2020 Sub-Major Groups 11 to 13 in June of reference year.

Equal Rights to Economic Resources, Property Ownership and Financial Services
Undertake reforms to give women equal rights to economic resources, as well as access to ownership and control over land and other forms of property, financial services, inheritance and natural resources, in accordance with national Laws.
