What is the Household Expenditure Survey (HES) 2017/18?

The HES collects information on households' expenditure, income, savings and selected household characteristics. Many other countries similarly conduct the HES. In Singapore, the HES is conducted once in every 5 years. The year-long HES 2017/18 started in Oct 2017.
